QUIZ is a character-driven documentary series about brilliance, pressure, and possibility told through the eyes of Jamaican teens preparing for the island’s most prestigious academic competition, Schools’ Challenge Quiz. Every year, for four adrenaline-charged months, Jamaica is riveted by Schools’ Challenge Quiz (SCQ), an elite academic tournament that turns high school students into local heroes and first-generation University students. They forfeit summers and Christmases, sleep, friendships, family time—even their childhoods—training like their lives depend on it. Because for many, it does. At stake is a full scholarship to University and $4.7 million Jamaican dollars! More than just a ticket to university, something most can't afford, it’s a shot at changing their future.
